Service Agreement

At Shuang Ma Movers, we are committed to delivering moving, packing, and storage services in accordance with the details outlined in your confirmed booking. Our trained movers use the proper tools, techniques, and equipment to ensure your belongings are transported safely and efficiently. This agreement ensures that all parties understand the scope of work and responsibilities involved in the moving process. Any services requested outside of the confirmed agreement may be subject to additional charges.

Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once a mutually agreed moving date is secured and, when applicable, a deposit is paid. Customers will receive a written or digital confirmation of their booking. We recommend scheduling your move as early as possible to ensure your preferred date and time are reserved, especially during weekends, holidays, or peak seasons.

Payments & Deposits

All payments for services rendered are due immediately upon completion of the move unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. We do not take deposits before the move. Payment can be made via Cash, PayNow, or Bank Transfer. Failure to make full payment may result in late fees or legal action.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move to avoid penalties. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may result in the forfeiture of any deposit paid. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible; however, last-minute changes impact our scheduling and team allocation.

Customer Responsibilities

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure clear access to both the pickup and delivery locations. This includes arranging building access, parking permissions, and elevator usage where required. Customers must also inform our team of any fragile, valuable, or oversized items before the move. If the customer chooses to self-pack, it is their responsibility to ensure items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.

Damages & Liability

Although our team takes great care when handling your belongings, Shuang Ma Movers is not responsible for damage to items not packed by our crew or for pre-existing damage. If any damage occurs during the move, it must be reported immediately on the day of the move for investigation. Liability for any proven damage is limited to the cost of repair or replacement, as agreed upon by both parties.

Storage Terms

Our storage services are billed monthly and must be paid in advance. Items in storage must be listed and inventoried by the customer, and we are not responsible for any undocumented belongings. Access to stored items must be arranged ahead of time to maintain security and efficiency. Failure to pay storage fees may result in denial of access and eventual disposal of items, following due notice.

Governing Law

All services provided by Shuang Ma Movers are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes or claims that may arise in relation to these terms and conditions or our services shall be resolved in accordance with Singapore’s legal system. By using our services, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
