Use Quality Packing Materials:
Always choose strong boxes, reliable packing tape, bubble wrap, and cushioning material. Good packing supplies protect your belongings and prevent damage during loading and transit.
Wrap Fragile Items Individually:
Each glass, dish, or electronic item should be wrapped separately and securely. Use bubble wrap, paper, or foam to protect delicate items and minimize the risk of breakage.
Don’t Overload Boxes:
Avoid stuffing boxes too full, especially with heavy items like books or kitchenware. Overloaded boxes are harder to carry, more likely to break, and can injure movers.
Seal and Reinforce Boxes:
Secure the bottom and top of each box with multiple layers of packing tape. Reinforcing corners and edges prevents boxes from collapsing or opening mid-move.
Group Items by Room:
Pack items from the same room together and label accordingly. This makes unpacking easier and helps movers know exactly where to place each box in your new home.
